The Grasshoppers confirm the progress made under coach Tomas Oral, but continue to struggle to win. Lausanne-Sport made it 2:2 in the 96th minute.

There were only seconds left to play. That's when the Grasshoppers were hit by déjà vu with full force. In the 96th minute, Argentinian Fabricio Oviedo scored to make it 2-2, the same Oviedo who had scored late on to make it 2-2 in the same match at the Letzigrund almost three weeks ago.

Just like then, GC managed to turn the game around on Saturday evening. The 20-year-old striker Adama Bojang, who needed over 600 minutes of playing time to score his first goal in a GC shirt, struck first in the 55th minute before eluding Lausanne's defender Noë Dussenne five minutes later and finishing off the attack in the style of a seasoned goalgetter.

Lausanne-Sport had taken the lead in the 13th minute with Alvyn Sanches' eleventh goal of the season. Before the 1:1, it was a misplaced pass by Sanches that was at the origin of Zurich's second goal. Thomas Castella, who was in goal for Lausanne for the first time this season, was not to blame for the goals conceded.

There is some explosiveness behind this premiere. As sporting director Stéphane Henchoz explained to "blue", regular keeper Karlo Letica had refused to play on Saturday. As Henchoz went on to explain, it is a question of problems surrounding the extension of his contract, which expires in the summer. The two-meter man from Split has rejected previous offers from Lausanne. However, the contract would now be automatically extended by means of a clause if he plays another season. Letica wanted to prevent this.
