FC Thun has found a successor for championship-winning coach Mauro Lustrinelli. It is the former Swiss U20 national team coach Gianluca Privitelli.

Privitelli is 48 years old and has a history on the FC Thun coaching staff (from 2018 to 2021). He was then head of youth training at FC Basel before moving to the SFA in 2023, where he took over the U20 national team. He has never been head coach of the professionals.
