The Swiss athletes praise each other and enjoy the moment, an Austrian pays tribute to his rivals: the votes on the Swiss triple victory in the team combined.
Loïc Meillard (winner with Franjo von Allmen): "I don't know what's going on with this team. It's crazy, simply brilliant. The day couldn't be more perfect. A medal like this is even more difficult because both athletes have to deliver. And they all did."
Franjo von Allmen: "I'm in my second World Cup season and I'm still happy with a top ten result. That's why I can't put into words what's going on here. The performance of the whole Swiss team is unbelievably cool. This is something for the history books. But there shouldn't be too many races like this, my nerves can't take it. I was happy to be able to lead the way. That alone was a lot of pressure. I wouldn't have wanted to do Loïc's job today."
Tanguy Nef (second with Alexis Monney): "It's crazy that there are six of us Swiss on the World Championship podium. With so many friends, I'm lost for words. I couldn't have wished for my first World Championship medal any better. The fact that Loïc had a good run took some of the pressure off me."
Alexis Monney: "Watching took a lot of energy, but it was cool. The emotions were huge when Tanguy crossed the finish line."
Marc Rochat (third with Stefan Rogentin): "A World Championship medal for two is twice as nice. Yesterday I said to 'Rogi': 'Tomorrow is our day'. A few beers are in the cards, even if I still have to ski the slalom. We'll wait to do my hair on Sunday."
Stefan Rogentin: "I announced it this morning: Rochat, the salt specialist. We didn't know each other that well before today, but tonight we'll get to know each other even better."
Matteo Joris (Swiss-Ski slalom coach): "For me, Tanguy Nef is the hero of the day. The way he withstood the pressure as the last one in the starting house and brought the run down like that was a great achievement."
Vincent Kriechmayr (AUT/eliminated with Manuel Feller): "The team combination is a cool competition, even though there are now three Swiss in the lead, or six. They deserve it, it's a great team."
Daniel Hemetsberger: (AUT/fifth with Fabio Gstrein): "I don't think we need to spin around like little kids just because the Swiss are showing us up there. They simply put in a better performance."
