FC Winterthur secure their first away win in the Super League after 18 unsuccessful attempts at FC Sion. The bottom team played their way to a 2:1 victory while outnumbered.

From the 53rd minute onwards, FC Winterthur were able to press for an equalizer in the Tourbillon with one more player. Benjamin Kololli received an annoying second yellow card after failing to keep his distance from a Winterthur free kick.
Roman Buess rewarded FCW with a first goal in the 80th minute to make it 1:1, and it got even better for the team at the bottom of the table: Christian Gomis scored the winning goal in the 94th minute, bringing the Zurich side closer to their rivals again and boosting their hopes of staying up.
Sion had taken the lead shortly before the break with Ilyas Chouaref's sixth goal of the season. He benefited from an excellent pass into the deep by the Russian Anton Mirantschuk. Ten-man Wallis then came under increasing pressure and found it increasingly difficult to deal with Winterthur's passes into their penalty area.
