Robinson is well on the way to confirming her outstanding victory at Copper Mountain. The 24-year-old showed a flawless run in the snow flurries in the Canadian province of Quebec and leads by 33 hundredths ahead of Croatia's Zrinka Ljutic and 49 hundredths ahead of American Mikaela Shiffrin.

Camille Rast is 1.14 seconds behind in 6th intermediate place. The Valais skier is 65 hundredths off the podium. Wendy Holdener was just under two seconds slower than Robinson. The skier from Schwyz made up a large part of her deficit in the lowest flat section. Vanessa Kasper lost 2.69 seconds on the leader and is in danger of missing the second run for the first time in the third race of the season.

Austria's Julia Scheib will not be taking part in the decision. The leader in the discipline classification dropped out after setting the best split times in the lower part of the course.
