Geneva freestyle skier Sarah Höfflin is back at the World Cup in Tignes after a six-week injury break.
She took part in the Big Air qualification and gave the green light for the upcoming World Championships in the Engadine. Höfflin did not want to risk more than one qualification jump six weeks after her foot fracture. "I will now rest my foot for the World Championships next week," the 34-year-old announced on Instagram. "I'm happy to be back."
Fabian Bösch was the only Swiss freestyler in the big air final in Tignes, the last World Cup stop of the season. The Obwalden native finished in 6th place.
The victories went to the Italian Tabanelli family, Miro in the men's event and his sister Flora in the women's event, who also won the discipline classification. New Zealander Luca Harrington secured the small crystal globe in the men's event.
