Young Boys are still not out of the woods under coach Gerardo Seoane. The Bernese lost 0:2 at FC Sion.

It was the first defeat in the Super League after six games with three wins and three draws. It was also the first championship defeat in the fifth game under Seoane, after losing twice in the Europa League under Fabio Coltorti's successor.

The defense - the defensive behavior - remains the Achilles heel of Young Boys. After the 4-4 draw in Geneva a week ago, YB again conceded two goals in the first half in Sion. The fact that it wasn't three was due to a chance offside of a few centimeters when Sion were supposedly 2-0 up.

Benjamin Kololli converted a penalty in the 29th minute, which YB defender Jaouen Hadjam had negligently caused with a careless elbow in the penalty area. Rilind Nivokazi made it 2-0 in stoppage time of the first half, having been slightly offside a good five minutes earlier.

The "Man of the Match" for Sion, however, was 26-year-old goalkeeper Anthony Racioppi, who was released by Young Boys 16 months ago. Racioppi saved nine shots on goal and kept a clean sheet against Young Boys for the second time this season. Racioppi had already shone in the 0-0 draw in the Wankdorf in August.
