The Rhone derby between Servette and Sion ended in a draw after much spectacle. The teams drew 3:3.

Ablie Jallow appeared to be the match-winner with his first goal in the Super League. The Servettien substitute scored in the 86th minute to make it 3-2 for the home team and send the majority of the 10,210 fans at the Stade de Genève into jubilation. It would have been the next step towards the top half of the table after the 4-2 win in St. Gallen.

But Sion were determined to maintain their unbeaten run this year. In the final offensive, the ball ended up with Winsley Botelli lurking in the penalty area, who secured a deserved point for the visitors.

They had already taken the lead in the 5th minute, but were unable to hold on to it for long. Servette were 2:1 ahead at the break before Numa Lavanchy made it 2:2 in the 58th minute with a spectacular direct shot.

A Rhone derby with three goals apiece sounds unusual, but this was actually the third time it had happened since May 2022. The last time the two teams drew 3-3 was in February last year.
