FC Sion also win their second game of the new Super League season. The newly promoted side beat Lausanne-Sport 4-0 at home, while GC and Luzern drew 1-1 in the other match early on Saturday evening.
Sion made the difference in the first ten minutes in the duel between two teams that won the first round. Théo Berdayes and Ali Kabacalman scored to give them a quick 2:0 lead. Cristian Souza and Numa Lavanchy scored the other two Sion goals in the closing stages.
In Zurich, Lars Villiger made it 1-0 for Lucerne shortly before the break. GC turned the game around in the meantime thanks to goals from Nikolas Muci and Pascal Schürpf. A magnificent long-range shot from Thibault Klidjé in the 85th minute ensured the points were shared.
