Jonas Hasler will be representing the Swiss colors in the snowboarding competition at the Laax Open on Saturday.
The 19-year-old from Thurgau, who wants to compete in three disciplines (halfpipe, slopestyle, big air) at the Olympic Games, was the only Swiss-Ski athlete to make it through to the semi-finals of Saturday's top 24 in the slopestyle heats on Friday, which he did with a commanding 76.75 points.
The semi-finals will take place during the day on Saturday. The snowboarder and snowboarder finals will take place in the spectacular superpipe, the "Big Beast", from 19:00. The only Swiss rider there is Pat Burgener, who has been competing for Brazil since this season.
