The CSIO St. Gallen is losing its lucrative status. The event in Eastern Switzerland will no longer be one of the four League of Nations tournaments next year.
Those responsible at the International Equestrian Federation FEI justify the withdrawal with the "uncertainty regarding the future plans for the arena". Instead of St. Gallen, Saint-Tropez in the south of France is now one of the organizers of the new Nations Cup series launched this year.
The League of Nations begins again in Abu Dhabi in mid-February. The tournament in Ocala, Florida, will follow in March, followed by Rotterdam in June and Saint-Tropez in September. The final will take place in Barcelona at the beginning of October, just like this fall.
