Almost a month after the end of the Olympic Games, the Swiss eventers move up one position in the team competition. Felix Vogg, Robin Godel and Mélody Johner inherit this 4th place at the green table.

Fourth-placed Belgium was subsequently disqualified due to a positive doping test on one of the horses used at the competition in Versailles, as announced by the International Equestrian Federation.

The doping test, in which traces of trazodone were found, took place during the Summer Games. The banned drug has a calming effect on horses. The rider Tine Magnus and her horse "Dia van het Lichterveld" were provisionally banned for two months.

This brought the number of fourth places for the Swiss Olympic delegation at the Summer Games in Paris to ten.
