In terms of the number of victories, Switzerland fell slightly short of the previous year in the 2024/25 season. Nevertheless, it is the most successful nation with 22 victories, ahead of Italy (15) and Norway (10).
Marco Odermatt, who topped the podium eight times this winter, is followed by French slalom specialist Clément Noël with four triumphs. Loïc Meillard, Franjo von Allmen, Henrik Kristoffersen and Timon Haugan each scored three victories. From a Swiss perspective, Justin Murisier, Thomas Tumler and Alexis Monney also won once each.
The Swiss-Ski men's team broke the 40-year-old Swiss record of top 3 finishes in the winter of 2024/25. There were 44 of these, with Odermatt (17) and Meillard (8) together accounting for more than half of the podium places. That was six more top 3 finishes than in the 1984/85 season in the era of Pirmin Zurbriggen and Co.
Federica Brignone was even more victorious in the women's event than Odermatt, who had won 13 times in the two previous seasons. The Italian overall World Cup winner won ten times. Brignone is followed by the American Mikaela Shiffrin with four victories - despite her almost two-month injury break. Three skiers, including Lara Gut-Behrami, triumphed three times. The only Swiss winner apart from the Ticino native is Camille Rast.
