Thun still can't pop the champions' corks on Sunday. St. Gallen won 2:1 at Young Boys thanks to a late goal and thus postponed the announcement of the championship once again.

Chima Okoroji converted a free kick from an acute angle through the poorly positioned YB wall in the 92nd minute to secure St. Gallen's away win in Bern and thus postponed Thun's championship celebrations just one more time. The day before, Thun had failed to capitalize on their first match point at home against Lugano, losing 1-0.

Ten minutes before Okoroji's late winning goal, Ebrima Colley had equalized for YB, giving the Thun fans in the Bernese Oberland, who were eagerly awaiting the championship celebrations at the public viewing in the Stockhorn Arena, too much time to cheer. St. Gallen's 1:0 was scored by Lukas Görtler from the penalty spot after an hour.

In the relegation battle, Winterthur's hopes of staying in the league continued to fade. The Zurich side lost 3-5 at Servette in Geneva after conceding three goals between the 21st and 29th minute and are still eight points off the barrage place with four rounds to go.

In the third game of the day, Sion celebrated a rare away win at FC Basel. The Valais side won 2-0 thanks to goals from Rilind Nivokazi and Josias Lukembila.

The Zurich clubs in the bottom three also suffered defeats in Saturday's Relegation Round matches. Grasshoppers lost 2-1 at home to Luzern, while FC Zurich lost 3-0 at Lausanne-Sport.
