Schaub came out on top on the penultimate day of competition with 576 points, ahead of the South Korean Cho Yeong-jae, who scored the same number of maximum hits. Pascal Bachmann finished in third place in the 300 m three-position competition with 589 points, which was enough for the Swiss team with Gilles Dufaux and Sandro Greuter to win gold ahead of Austria and Poland. Neither discipline is on the program at the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

The Swiss delegation has won nine medals so far at the title fights in Cairo.
