The Swiss downhill racers also put in brilliant performances at the main World Championship rehearsal in Crans-Montana. Franjo von Allmen leads the 2027 World Championships after 30 racers have started, ahead of Marco Odermatt and Alexis Monney.

In the first World Cup race after the World Championships, von Allmen showed a similarly wild ride as two weeks ago in his gold medal run in Saalbach, distancing Odermatt by 13 hundredths on the Piste Nationale.
The 3rd place of Monney (0.42 seconds behind) was no surprise either.
