Young Boys win 3-0 against Lausanne and push the Vaud side out of the top half of the table. Yverdon shocks Winterthur in the last minute.
In Bern's Wankdorf, the home team put themselves on course for victory shortly before half-time. The returning Christian Fassnacht set up Ebrima Colley, who gave YB an important lead after an even half. It was only the second league goal for the striker from Gambia. Ivorian winter newcomer Chris Bedia made the final result a little too clear with a brace in the 78th and 86th minutes. With their fourth home win in a row, Young Boys moved up to fifth place in the table, at least until Sunday.
At the bottom of the table, the situation has deteriorated further for bottom-placed Winterthur. FCW lost 2-1 at Yverdon and are now eight points behind the Vaud side. After Marley Aké's opening goal, Luca Zuffi equalized for the visitors with a penalty. After Tobias Schättin was shown a red card, Winterthur were short-handed from the 66th minute onwards and looked like they could at least salvage a point. However, Moussa Baradji scored in the 96th minute to give the home side a late victory and put a sting in the heart of the visitors.
