Lugano has acquired another player for its offense. The 18-year-old Elias Pihlström joins the Ticino club from Sweden, as announced by the club.

Lugano and Pihlström have signed an extraordinarily long contract: the young Swede will be scoring goals for the Bianconeri for the next five years, i.e. until 2030. Pihlström comes from Swedish first division club Deferfors IF and is an U21 international.
