Defending champions ZSC Lions remain unbeaten in the National League thanks to a 1-0 win against the SCL Tigers and are once again top of the table. Their closest rivals are surprisingly cantonal rivals Kloten.
Thanks to a goal by Vinzenz Rohrer (31st), the Lions secured their eighth win in a row against the SCL Tigers and are now one point ahead of Kloten in the standings. The Zurich lowlanders defeated Fribourg-Gottéron 5-2, also thanks to two goals from Miro Aaltonen, and also overtook the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers and Lugano, who had previously occupied first and second place respectively.
Zug moved up from 6th to 4th place thanks to a 3:1 win at Ajoie, who are still without points. Ambri-Piotta beat Biel 2:1 in overtime, as did Lausanne against Bern (3:2). It was the fourth defeat in a row for the SCB.
