Loïc Meillard leads, Marco Odermatt is outside the top 10

Meillard, who celebrated his first World Cup victory in the giant slalom in Schladming two years ago, leads after the best 30 racers by 11 and 24 hundredths respectively ahead of the Norwegians Alexander Steen Olsen and Henrik Kristoffersen. Second best Swiss is Thomas Tumler in 6th intermediate place. The Grisons skier is 46 hundredths behind.

Odermatt lost nine tenths to Meillard on the course, which was shortened due to rain - without making a major mistake - and in twelfth place is not far outside the top 10 ahead of Luca Aerni.
