The Thurgau cantonal police have identified a motorcyclist who has been speeding in Bischofszell TG several times in recent months and has also committed a speeding offense. The 18-year-old Swiss national from the canton of St. Gallen had to surrender his learner's license.
The young motorcyclist was flashed seven times in urban areas within just under two months, the police wrote in a statement. According to the statement, he exceeded the speed limit by at least 23 km/h each time after deducting the safety margin. The motorcycle's license plate was falsified or missing completely on each of the speeding incidents.
During one of the journeys on March 18, he was measured at a speed of 104 kilometers per hour. After deducting the safety margin, this results in an excess of 50 km/h, which corresponds to a speeding offense. He had also completed some of the journeys without a driving license for the relevant category.
The young man has confessed and will be reported to the public prosecutor's office in Bischofszell. His learner's license was confiscated for the attention of the road traffic authorities.
