In future, there will be a second daily direct connection from Zurich to Venice. In addition, a train will now run directly to Rimini on the Adriatic coast in summer. The connection from Zurich to La Spezia will be offered all year round.
More TGV trains from Lausanne and Geneva to Paris are also planned for France from April 2027. Trains will run more punctually between Zurich and Stuttgart thanks to more travel time reserves.
Domestic passengers on the route from Lucerne to Constance will now have to change trains in Zurich. In return, more seats will be offered on the section to Zurich. A new night train from Zurich to Chur is also planned.
The timetable change is scheduled for December 13, 2026.
