Investigators have discovered 32 bodies in a mass grave in central Mexico. 15 bodies have already been identified, according to the public prosecutor's office in the state of Guanajuato.

According to a report in the newspaper "Milenio", this is the largest discovery of bodies in Guanajuato for five years. The bodies were found on a plot of land in the village of La Calera near the city of Irapuato. The background was initially unclear.
Guanajuato is an important industrial location that was considered relatively safe until a few years ago. However, due to the violence of the drug cartels, the state is now one of the most dangerous in Mexico.
According to official figures, more than 124,000 people are missing in the Latin American country. Many of them are believed to have been abducted and murdered by criminal syndicates.
