A 44-year-old woman was found seriously injured in Bülach ZH on Wednesday afternoon. The police arrested the suspected perpetrator nearby.

The woman had to be taken to hospital by rescue helicopter. A spokesperson for the Zurich cantonal police confirmed to Keystone-SDA a corresponding report from "Blick".

The 44-year-old woman was walking along a country lane when she was attacked. A car parked nearby was towed away. The police were deployed with dogs and a helicopter.
