Road accident 47-year-old dies in car accident in Lodrino TI

A 47-year-old man died in a serious car accident in Ticino on Wednesday. He lost control of his vehicle on a bend and crashed into a wall.

The accident occurred in Lodrino in the Riviera district, as reported by the Ticino cantonal police on Wednesday. According to an initial accident reconstruction, the man lost control of his vehicle on a right-hand bend for reasons that are still unclear, left the road and crashed into a wall.

The emergency services of the cantonal police and those of the Tre Valli police, members of the Biasca fire department and the Tre Valli Soccorso rescue team attempted to resuscitate the 47-year-old, but were only able to determine that he had died, as the press release concludes.
