Fire, fire 70-year-old injured in fire at a bungalow in Estavayer-le-Lac
A 70-year-old resident of a burning bungalow on a campsite in Estavayer-le-Lac suffered smoke inhalation on Friday evening. Because the fire spread to a neighbouring house, new accommodation had to be organized for its occupant.

The fire was reported at around 10.30 p.m., the Fribourg cantonal police wrote on Saturday. It threatened to spread to the neighboring residential buildings.
Emergency services were able to bring the flames under control quickly, it said. However, the bungalow was completely destroyed and a neighboring house was damaged.
The occupant of the bungalow, a 70-year-old woman, was able to escape in time, according to further reports. However, she suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to hospital by paramedics. The occupant of the damaged neighboring house was accommodated elsewhere.
Due to the fire, the emergency services had to temporarily cut off the power supply. However, the power supply was restored during the night. The investigation into the case is ongoing, the police added on Saturday.
