Building materials Amrize acquires PB Materials in Texas

The former Holcim subsidiary Amrize wants to make acquisitions in Texas. The American building materials group has signed an agreement to take over PB Materials.

PB Materials has 26 locations in West Texas and generates sales of over 180 million US dollars with around 340 employees, Amrize announced on Wednesday. "Significant synergies" are expected and the acquisition should already make a positive contribution to EPS and cash flow in the first year. Closing is expected in the first half of 2026.

PB Materials is a leading aggregates company with a network for ready-mix concrete in this high-growth region, it added.
