Another woman in the trial against Sean "Diddy" Combs has reported forced sexual acts by the rap superstar. Combs' ex-girlfriend, who took the stand in New York under the pseudonym Jane, tearfully reported on so-called "hotel nights" during which, according to her testimony, Combs arranged drugs and paid sexual encounters with other men. Jane testified that the nights with other men had taken place against her will, but that pressure from Combs had always made her give in. The woman also reported that she had contacted men at Combs' request to have sexual conversations and ask them to send explicit photos. The witness could no longer remember how many men in total were involved in the "hotel nights".
The woman's statements were largely similar to those of another key witness, Cassie Ventura. At the beginning of the trial, which attracted worldwide attention, she had also reported on her past relationship with Grammy winner Combs and his alleged sexual assault. The 55-year-old musician is accused of sex trafficking, organized crime and other criminal offences. The rapper denies all accusations and has pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he faces a life sentence. The trial could drag on for several weeks.
