This and two other men were stopped in Trimbach SO last fall in a coordinated operation with the Solothurn investigating authorities. In the course of house searches, officers seized several kilograms of narcotics, various watches and cash worth several thousand francs.
One of the suspects in particular was suspected of being responsible for the acquisition, possession, transportation and sale of "large quantities of cocaine". The Bernese public prosecutor's office for special tasks wrote this in a statement on Thursday. It has now brought charges against the man and an alleged accomplice.
The Solothurn public prosecutor's office is taking over the proceedings against the other two people who have been detained, it added. They will also have to answer to the courts.
