Bitcoin has been soaring since the election of Donald Trump as the new US president.
Around two weeks ago, Bitcoin scratched the 100,000 dollar mark. On Bitstamp, the world's oldest cryptocurrency climbed to almost 99,400 dollars, but has not yet been able to break through the 100,000 dollar barrier.
Trump is considered to be crypto-friendly and the industry expects deregulation to boost growth. Trump wants to create a post for digital assets and he himself is also active in the industry with his company Trump Media & Technology Group.
