Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson plans to publish his memoirs in the fall. The book, entitled "Unleashed", will be honest and unvarnished and provide a deep insight, the publisher HarperCollins announced according to a report by the PA news agency.

The book will cover Johnson's time as Mayor of London (2008 to 2016) and as Prime Minister (2019 to 2022). He feels deeply honored that the publisher is publishing his personal account of the enormous changes in British politics over the past 15 years.

Johnson has already collected more than 500,000 pounds

According to the PA report, Johnson has already received 510,000 pounds (more than 570,000 Swiss francs) as an advance for the book project, according to the register of fringe benefits for parliamentarians.

Johnson resigned from his post as head of government in 2022. Last year, he also resigned his seat in the House of Commons after a committee of inquiry concluded that he had misled Parliament about illegal parties at the seat of government during the coronavirus lockdowns.
