Federal Criminal Court Both defendants in the 1MDB case sentenced to prison terms

The Federal Criminal Court has sentenced the main defendant and his business partner in the 1MDB trial to prison terms of seven and six years respectively. The Office of the Attorney General accuses them of having participated in damaging the 1MDB sovereign wealth fund.

They had requested prison sentences of ten and nine years respectively for the two defendants.
