The accused had the intention of unlawfully enriching himself, said the judge at the sentencing on Wednesday. He had fraudulently misled the customers. A probationary period of five years applies to the prison sentence. He must pay a fine of 1,500 francs. The court awarded damages to the injured parties. The verdict is not yet final.
The 39-year-old harmed over 50 people. By his own account, he fell into a vicious financial circle shortly after starting his business. At the hearing on March 19, injured parties accused him of merely acting and demanded their money back. The damages amount to around 140,000 francs.
