Shortly after 1 a.m., the operator of a recycling company in Wettingen noticed a break-in and alerted the police, as the police stated in their press release. Several patrols from the cantonal police and the regional police were subsequently deployed.
The members of one patrol then spotted a person who matched the description of the burglar. However, they lost sight of him after he fled across the highway.
