A bus driver was injured in an accident in the city of Schaffhausen on Friday morning: an oncoming car skidded and collided head-on with his bus.

The bus driver had to be taken to hospital due to his injuries, as the Schaffhausen police reported on Friday. There were no passengers on board - the bus was on a business trip and was empty with the exception of the driver.

According to the police, the accident occurred shortly before 6 a.m. on Friday morning on Ebnatstrasse under the A4 bridge. The Schaffhausen police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
