Road accident Car crashes into construction site truck on the A4 in Steinen SZ

A driver overlooked a construction site truck on the A4 in Steinen SZ on Tuesday afternoon. He was slightly injured in the collision. The emergency services took him to hospital.

Due to mowing work, the maximum speed before the work area was initially limited to 100 kilometers per hour (km/h) and then to 80 km/h, as reported by the Schwyz cantonal police on Wednesday.

The normal lane of the A4 near Steinen was temporarily blocked by a truck with a collision absorber traveling at walking pace. The 54-year-old driver realized this too late, which led to a collision.
