According to the Lille public prosecutor's office, the boy's father is said to have made contact with the men. He is accused of incest and complicity.
The abuse is said to have taken place during a so-called "chemsex" evening. Chemsex" usually refers to hours of sex under the influence of psychoactive substances such as cocaine, ketamine, ecstasy or crystal meth. The father is also alleged to have been raped and abused while under the influence of drugs that evening.
Specifically, the judiciary is investigating ten men between the ages of 29 and 50. Almost all of them were remanded in custody. One of the men has since died. In the preliminary investigations, the public prosecutor's office also accused some of them of sexually assaulting a pet.
The police were called to investigate the alleged acts in Lille last February. The investigations relate to the period from November 2024 to February 2025. The child is now in the care of his mother. The father's custody and visiting rights have been suspended.
