Traffic accident Child seriously injured in an accident with a car in Grosshöchstetten

A child was seriously injured in Grosshöchstetten on Thursday afternoon. The child was riding a toy tractor and collided head-on with a car, according to the Bern cantonal police.

The boy was seriously injured in the accident and had to be taken to hospital by ambulance, as the police wrote in a statement on Friday.

According to initial findings by the police, the car was traveling on Föhrenweg when the boy drove a toy tractor from a forecourt onto the road for reasons still to be clarified. The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
