School City of Zurich releases teacher on suspicion of sexual offenses

The city of Zurich has suspended a teacher who teaches in Zurich. The teacher is accused of "transgressive behavior". The public prosecutor's office is investigating possible offenses against sexual integrity.

A spokesperson for the public prosecutor's office confirmed a report by "20 Minuten" to Keystone-SDA, according to which the teacher is currently in police custody. The teacher was released by mutual agreement, as the City of Zurich's Department of Education and Sport previously announced on Tuesday. The school management had received information about the transgressive behavior from a member of staff.
