USA CNN founder Ted Turner is dead

The founder of the US news channel CNN, Ted Turner, has died. Turner died at the age of 87, CNN announced. Turner, who had already announced several years ago that he was suffering from dementia, died at his home near the city of Tallahassee in the US state of Florida, reported the "New York Times", citing a family spokesman.
