Following the discovery of a body in a cellar in Vienna, the police assume that the man was buried there around 25 years ago. The traces clearly point to a homicide, the police said. The plastic-wrapped remains of the 30-year-old man were discovered by construction workers in the basement of a residential building in April. Since then, investigators have tried in vain to clarify the identity of the badly decomposed body with the help of databases and foreign authorities.

Now the police are asking the public for information. The man was about 1.70 meters tall, slim and with healthy teeth, they said. He was wearing a reddish jogging suit with the "Vox Maris" logo. Investigators are hoping for information from anyone who knows anything about the missing man or suspicious persons in connection with this case.
