The integration of the Hotelplan Group, which was acquired last summer, is making progress. The closure of the previous Hotelplan headquarters in Glattbrugg could be absorbed at the Dertour Suisse headquarters in Zurich-Altstetten.

"We have enough space in Altstetten and could also rent additional space," says Dertour Suisse CEO Stephanie Schulze zur Wiesch in an interview with the news agency AWP. Home office helps here. Joint home office quotas are currently being set for Dertour and Hotelplan.
The number of travel agencies has shrunk by 4 to 133 since the beginning of the year. There have been a few mergers, says Schulze zur Wiesch.
"But we will definitely hold on to the branches," emphasizes the Dertour Suisse boss: "However, as in the past, we will review the branch network from time to time. This may lead to new branches being added, branches being merged or closed."
The headcount has fallen by 100 to 1,750 employees since the beginning of the year. This also includes natural fluctuations. As already known, around 250 jobs will be cut by the end of next year. 15 branches will also be closed.
