According to official information, almost a dozen flights were diverted due to the incident. After just under an hour, the resumption of flight operations was announced shortly before 8.00 pm.

In recent weeks, drone sightings at several major European airports have caused considerable disruption to air traffic. There were repeated flight cancellations and large-scale airspace closures - including in Munich and Frankfurt.
