Emmi Desserts has 20 production sites in six countries: France, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK and the USA. Around 3,600 employees serve customers from the retail and food service sectors in more than 65 countries, according to a press release issued on Thursday.
Emmi Desserts contributed around 17 percent to Emmi Group sales in the past financial year 2025. The premium desserts segment is a strategic growth area for the Group. The range includes classic desserts such as tiramisu, lava cakes and cheesecakes, as well as newer products such as mini fritters and cake pops, complemented by regional specialties such as flans, tres leches and mille-feuilles.
Emmi entered the Italian premium dessert market in 2011. This was followed in 2020 by the acquisition of Indulge Desserts in the USA. In the past two years, Emmi has made further acquisitions with the French Mademoiselle Desserts Group and the British The English Cheesecake Company.
