The acquisition of the brand complements the existing business of the Mademoiselle Desserts Group and thus ideally expands the distribution strategy, Emmi announced on Tuesday. No financial details were provided.

Founded in 2000 as a family business, The English Cheesecake Company recently achieved sales of around 23 million pounds sterling. It produces classic cheesecakes, vegan and frozen flavors as well as snack formats.
