Rescue workers have recovered the crashed bus following an accident in Norway in which three people died. The vehicle had left a road on Thursday and partially plunged into a lake. The Norwegian news agency NTB reported that the fatalities were two women and a child.

People from various countries were on board - the police have not yet provided any information on the nationality of the fatalities. Several people were taken to hospital with injuries.

The accident occurred on a road that connects the Lofoten archipelago with the mainland. Experts are investigating the cause of the accident. The police have set up an emergency number for relatives.
