The trial of a 55-year-old man began on Monday morning at the Olten-Gösgen SO district court. The former politician is alleged to have shown himself naked to teenage girls and young women on the River Aare between Olten and Aarau between 2017 and 2022.

The first person questioned by the court was a girl who was only 15 years old at the time of the crime in summer 2022. She and her colleague had initially "thought nothing of it" when the man went swimming naked in the Aare, she said. This happens there, she said.

It was a "gruesome" feeling when the accused masturbated near her. He had also approached her and her colleague of the same age and asked if they wanted to "jerk him off". The two friends fled on their scooters.

In addition to multiple acts of exhibitionism, the former member of the Aargau Central Council is also accused of multiple sexual acts with children. He is also said to have grabbed the breasts of some of his 35 victims.
