Google launched search with artificial intelligence in Switzerland on Wednesday. The "Overview with AI" feature is available in German, French, Italian and English, but only for users aged 18 and over.

"Overview with AI" has already been available in the USA for a year. The tool helps users to get a quicker overview of a topic with an AI-based overview instead of a list of links. The search is therefore used more frequently and users are more satisfied with the results.

Google uses generative AI for "Overview with AI". Several search engines already use this type of artificial intelligence, including Bing AI, DuckDuckGo AI Chat, Ecosia Chat, Brave Search and Perplexity.ai.
