A 33-year-old man was found dead in Neuenhof AG on Tuesday evening. Law enforcement authorities have arrested a 36-year-old suspect. The two men may have known each other, as the Aargau public prosecutor's office announced on Wednesday.

Relatives had reported the 33-year-old Swiss national missing on January 30. In the course of the investigation, a violent crime was suspected. A 36-year-old German man came to the attention of the prosecution authorities. According to the latest information, the missing man had intended to meet the suspect at the time of his disappearance, as stated in the press release.

The police arrested the German man on Tuesday. During questioning, he admitted that he was responsible for the 33-year-old's death. The suspect also revealed the presumed location of the body in a wooded area in Neuenhof, according to the statement.
