A total of 35 kilograms of cocaine, 1,370 kilograms of cannabis products and one kilogram of heroin were seized. Investigators from mobile task forces throughout Italy found 41 firearms, 80 cutting and stabbing weapons and over 300,000 euros in cash. The money is believed to be the proceeds of drug trafficking.

Cannabis stores targeted

Some of the trafficking is said to have been carried out via cannabis stores. For this reason, there were targeted checks on the sale of cannabis products in cannabis stores. More than 300 stores were checked; 5 of them in three different cities were confiscated.

According to the information provided, several social media profiles have been identified and their content is currently being checked. Depending on the outcome of the checks, the profiles were to be reported to the judicial authorities so that they could be blocked.
